Yesterday marked 11 days before the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup kicks-off at the Sir John Guise Stadium and the football fever is gaining momentum in Port Moresby.
With selected communities around Port Moresby turned out in different colours today representing the 16 teams that will be participating in the World Cup at the Ela Beach Ampere Theatre.
It is evident in major roads around the city and even in venues, with FIFA U20 WWC Flyers and Billboards reminding everyone in Port Moresby and even travellers passing through the nation’s capital of the world class event.
These group of fans were tasked to build the hype and have been practicing their team chants tirelessly for more than three weeks.
