NCD Corporate Volleyball Heated Finals

In the NCD Corporate Volleyball, the main games of the finals concluded last evening with NCD and Pom Gen coming out on top in the men’s grand final for the A and B grade Cup play offs.

And in the women’s division MJ Electrical and Fairfax proved to be the better teams, in pools A and B.

In pool A, team Pom Gen and ANZ met in the finals.

Pom Gen showed dominance early on by claiming the first set with a 25 – 26 scoreline.

In response, ANZ sailed through the second set with added flair that saw similar scoreline to the first set, this time in their favor.

Pom Gen came back into the third set regrouped, and the heat turned up as it was a score for a score until ANZ, got tired on 26 points and the guys in white came out victorious.

In Pool B, of the men’s cup finals, NCDC and CPL had the crowd on its feet.

The NCDC team was the crowd favourite, but the CPL guys gave them a good challenge.

Though CPL failed to acquire any set as the NCDC guys sailed through the first two sets, without fail.

With two sets already under their belt and an already exhausted CPL side, it was a no brainer; they brought the third set home as well.

And in the women’s cup play offs, IRC crumbled under Fairfax pressure with a 3 – 1 defeat in pool A, while the NCDC ladies went head to head with MJ Electrical, but fell short of the win by a set.
