But a local trekking company – World War II Memorial Kokoda Trekking aims to give tourists the ultimate Kokoda experience with the launch of its website.
The website ww2.memorialkokodatrekking.com features the eastern side of the Kokoda and the World’s largest Butterfly Queen Alexandra Birdwing Butterfly.
Managing Director James Lubina says the idea is to help local’s benefit from their resources rather than be exploited by foreign trekking companies.
