On this first episode, presenter Steve Woodhouse, introduces his personal journey over the country’s agricultural sector, taking the viewers from Highland regions all the way to the New Guinea Islands.
During this journey, Farming PNG uncovers some of the sector’s most successful stories, but also some challenges faced by the rural community as they strive to be part of the global community, where scientific advances are playing an increasingly important role in the agricultural sector.
Along the way, Farming PNG touches not only agricultural matters, but uncovers the hidden beauty of rural PNG, as well as the cultures that shape up this unique country in the South Pacific.
