The Office of the Bougainville Electoral Commission will work closely with the PNG Electoral Commission for the successful delivery of this year’s National General Election.
Bougainville’s Acting Electoral Commissioner, George Manu said preparations are well underway.
He also clarified OBEC is not directly responsible but will provide support only on request under the agreements signed between both Electoral commissions.
He said there is an election manager representing the PNG Electoral Commission who is totally responsible for the National General Elections.
