More than 100 members across Buka, Arawa and Buin have participated in Nambawan Super Limited’s Financial Literacy Training.
The initiative highlights the growing importance of financial awareness, saving and retirement planning across the region.
The training sessions formed part of NSL’s ongoing engagement in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville (AROB). The initiative brought practical financial knowledge directly to existing members, Choice Super members and interested individuals seeking to better manage their finances, prepare for retirement and understand their superannuation benefits.
NSL recognises that as AROB plans for its future, financial security, employment opportunities and retirement savings will remain vital for individuals, families and communities. Through these training sessions, NSL is reinforcing its commitment to supporting members and employers across the region.
As a fund for everyone, NSL serves people across all sectors, including public and private industries, small businesses and the informal economy.
Through Choice Super, self-employed individuals, subsistence farmers, informal workers and small business owners can also save for the future and build financial security for retirement.
The strong turnout across Buka, Arawa and Buin highlights the value of bringing financial education directly to local communities.
The positive response reinforces NSL’s commitment to continuing its engagement with members, employers and communities across AROB by providing the services and information needed to achieve better retirement outcomes.
NSL’s flagship Financial Literacy Training is offered free of charge to all NSL employers and members.
