PNG KUMULS SQUAD ANNOUNCED FOR THE 2025 PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP
The official announcement of the Papua New Guinea Kumuls squad for the 2025 Pacific Championship has been revealed.
The defending champions have named four debutants include Gairo Voro, Finley Glare, Cooper Bai, and Dudley Dotoi in their squad.
The four will be looking to make a strong impression to secure their spots in the team to get their Kumuls number.
The selection has put to rest the debate surrounding the Kumuls’ hooker position, with Kumuls coach Jason Demetriou awarding the starting role to Leigh Leopards hooker Edwin Ipape.
Finley Glare and Liam Horne have been named at numbers 14 and 17, respectively, meaning Hostplus PNG Hunters hooker Judah Rimbu is not included in the 20-man squad.
Voro will play at five-eighth alongside Lachlan Lam, while Glare, Bai, and Dotoi are expected to come off the bench.
PNG will face Cook Islands this weekend at NFS, Port Moresby
