The National Fisheries Authority contributed K100,000 to organise the 2017 Medical Symposium.
This symposium will focus on access for Papua New Guinean women to safe surgery and anesthesia.
NFA Managing Director, John Kasu, presented the cheque to Symposium Organising Committee Chairman and Chief Surgeon, Dr Osborne Liko, today in Port Moresby.
Kasu, while presenting the cheque of K100,000 to the Medical Symposium Organising Committee, said this contribution is for a good cause.
Dr Liko, upon receiving the cheque thanked NFA for their contribution.
This contribution is part of the MSOC fundraising which will go towards hosting the 2017 Medical Symposium.
It aims to access women to safe surgery and anesthesia.
