CHARITY DARTS CHALLENGE ENDS ON A HIGH NOTE

The inaugural Corporate Charity Darts Challenge 2025 has concluded with SP Brew Masters taking the top prize.

Masters took home the cup in what is aimed at fostering community engagement and sporting excellence in Papua New Guinea.

Organized by the newly formed POM Metro Darts Association (PMMDA) in partnership with the South Pacific Motor Sports Club and PNG Soccer Charity Trust, the event was sponsored by Kumul Petroleum Holdings Limited (KPHL).

Masters went past Car Club Pacific Racing Pisston Brokes 5-3 in a tense final showdown. While Mobile Works edged out Ostreme Nukes 5-3 to win the plate.

Leaving behind NJSS Team I who emerged victorious in the bowl beating KPHL Arrows 5-2.

It was a double celebration for NJSS, their team two defeated Works & Highways 5-1 in the Kundu bracket.

This pioneering competition brought together 29 corporate houses and companies, with 32 teams competing in a series of thrilling matches at the Safari Hall, Car Club.

Over 16 rounds of intense play, the teams showcased skill, perseverance, and team spirit, with the event culminating in four exciting finals last Saturday, October 25, 2025.

The event’s success will be celebrated at the awards presentation night scheduled for November 1st 2025, with PNG Police Minister Peter Tsiamalili Jnr serving as Guest of Honor.

High delegations in the likes of US Ambassador to PNG, Madam Ann-Marie Yatishock, KPHL Board Member and NAC Chairman Jacob Anga, and Kisakiu Posman, founder of the PNG Soccer Charity Trust are all invited to attend.

Corporate Charity Darts is a social event that brings together people who share the same interest in the game to raise funds to support charity organizations.

PMMDA President Baxter Torie expressed that the interest for next season is already building, with plans for expansion.
