Warriors Eye Opener

The 2017 Telstra NRL Premiership is due in a fortnight and the New Zealand Warriors are already showing what they can do in this new season.

In their last pre-season trial game against the Gold Coast Titans yesterday, the Warriors snared a 26 – 6 win over the Gold Coast Titans.

It was a fidgety start for the Warriors as early season jitters can be seen in the opening quarter.

Though they were quickly ironed out as the game continued.

Newly appointed Captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck was the X factor this time, playing prominent roles in the number of tries that were scored. And even score 2, him.

This performance was better than the previous match they played against the Melbourne Storms, where the Warriors lost with 18 points to 30.

The New Zealand side will face New Castle for the season opener due in a fortnight.
