Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League held a breakfast this morning at the Gateway hotel.
The breakfast was organised to update sponsors and stakeholders on PNGRFL and SP Hunters activities and programs.
Chairman Sandis Tsaka talked about the functions of the PNGRFL and how far they have come over the years.
He says the slide show presentation and breakfast held this morning is to help enlighten the sponsors and stakeholders on what they have achieved. and what they plan to do.
During his presentation, Tsaka made a mention of including an Under-20 Hunters team.
He says with the U-20 team, this will be a good pathway for School boys Rugby league, and will also act as a feeder club into the PNG Hunters.
Tsaka has always said that running a team like the Hunters is a fairly expensive exercise.
With PNGRFL trying to include an U-20 team in the Australian Competition, this will also call for sponsors to help support the team.
