SP Hunters Return

The SP Hunters returned from Brisbane today after losing to the Ipswich Jets on Sunday afternoon.

Although the team showed moments of glitz and glamour, unethical mistakes prevented them from securing a victory.

Head Coach Michael Marum and the team were not impressed with their inconsistent form over the weekend, and are looking to improve for this weekend’s game.

Falling short of a win, the SP Hunters were unimpressed with their performance on Sunday afternoon against the Ipswich Jets, losing 25-12.

Although the team indicated glimpses of brilliance, over confidence and unaffordable mistakes were contributing factors to the team’s unfortunate loss.

Head Coach Michael Marum expressed his disappointment in the team’s efforts in securing a win over the weekend.  Coach Marum made it clear that this week; he needed to address the errors which cost the team.

As the team head straight back into training this week, in preparation for next week’s match against Tweed Heads, in Kalabond Oval Kokopo, Marum looks to prepare the team mentally in order to achieve their desired result.

Coach Marum also touches base on the topic of departing SP Hunter Mark Mexico as he joins the Cronulla Sharks. Marum is both certain and assertive that they will select an appropriate replacement for this weekend’s match.

Although the signing of Mark Mexico has again demonstrated the impressive talent across the rugby league board, the SP Hunters are still in focus to produce many more professional players and continue their consistent form throughout the rest of the season.
