A young man was brutally murdered around the New Year period along the Kumusi River in the Kokoda LLG.
According to a family member, the deceased, Samson Kae, 24-years old of Asisi Village, was found some 70km away from where he was last seen on December 30, 2016.
His uncle Kingston Evari, says when the body was retrieved, physical evidence showed the deceased had body parts cut off and his stomach was slashed with a sharp object.
