Pukpuks Prepare For Oceania Sevens In Noosa

With a number of changes to the team over the last 12 months, senior players like Albert Levi, Butler Moris and Hubert Tseraha are backing the boys to return with some positive results.

Following their devastating form at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, the men in red, yellow and black are determined to outplay the criticism and return with some favorable results.

With senior Pukpuk Albert Levi and Papua New Guinea’s rugby sprint king on the wing, the Pukpuks have confidence in the team’s upcoming performance in Noosa.

Levi also says that off field preparations are just as important to the boys.

With impact players like Billy Torea and Stanis Susuve out of this year’s Oceania Sevens squad, Levi believes that with young guns like Manu Guises talent, the boys will be destructible and he looks forward to positive results.

The PNG Palais will also be travelling to Noosa for the Oceania Sevens on Wednesday alongside the Pukpuks and will be playing for the 2015 Olympic Games qualifiers.
