Polye Turns Himself In For Questioning

Ousted Treasury Minister, Don Polye, has voluntarily given himself to the police Anti-Fraud and Corruption Unit for questioning on matters relating to the Paul Paraka saga, and has challenged Prime Minister Peter O’Neill to do the same.

Upon his arrival from Brisbane, Australia this afternoon, Mr. Polye went straight to the Anti-Fraud office in Konedobu for questioning.

Mr. Polye said he has nothing to hide, and will provide facts to the police to clear his name.

On his arrival at Jacksons International Airport, Mr Polye briefed the media at the car park, saying he will provide facts to the police, to assist in the investigations into the Paul Paraka saga.

Before going in for questioning, he stressed that Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill has no reasons to establish a commission of inquiry into the Paul Paraka case, because he was the main person implicated in this saga.

Mr Polye said the Prime Minister, should not apply bullying tactics which will frustrate the police as investigations are at its peak now.
