Ten new seismic stations will be installed at strategic locations in the country to monitor seismic activities in real time.
This will enable communities to get early warnings and ensure better communications in times of earthquakes and tsunamis.
The Port Moresby Geophysical Observatory will use Telikom PNG’s communication infrastructures to monitor seismic occurrence.
