Pacific International Hospital Corporate Indoor Cricket Ends Round 7

Continuing from yesterday’s Round 7 fixtures, the Pacific International Hospital Corporate Indoor Cricket concluded its remaining matches today.

The main matches this afternoon concluded with Credit Corporation beating Institute of Business Studies by 119 runs, while Oil Search lost to Internal Revenue Commission by 33 runs.

Pacific Assurance Group scored 112 runs and defeated Southern Cross, with 91 runs.

It’s evident, indoor cricket has generated interest. Since the introduction of the corporate competition, it has attracted a total participation of 50 corporate houses.

And all had rocked down to the Amini Indoor Cricket Pitch, every weekend for some good cricket, since the competition kicked off last month.

Today’s remaining round 7 matches, will also mark a break phase, as all teams, take time off from the pitch for the festive period.

With most of the Mixed Division matches already out of the way as of yesterday, the Men’s Division continued their matches today. This was where Puma Energy defeated National Fisheries Authority with 245 runs after 16 overs.

Avis lost to the National Parliament by 40 runs, and Swire Shipping Hoods lost to Credit Corp with only 93 runs while their opponent bagged 157 runs.

Other matches are currently on.

The competition will resume on January 7 next year. This will see the teams play out round 8 of competition.
