Papua New Guinea experience ‘unforgettable’, says Broncos

The Brisbane Broncos will be sharing their unforgettable experience when they return to Australia. Broncos assistant Coach Jason Demetriou says they are respectful for the great opportunity.

Like every NRL player or team that visits the country, they are always greeted by very passionate fans.

Since the Broncos arrived last week Thursday, they were given a surprising welcome by club fanatics at the airport.

Since they arrived to when they departed has been something many of the players and coaching staff have never experienced before.

Broncos assistant coach, Jason Demetriou said they will be passing on more than a good word about their experience when they return.

He added, it would be great for the expansion of the game if a PNG team was included in the NRL.

The trial match held over the weekend saw many people turn up to support their teams.

Broncos Trial Match captain, Alex Glen was awestruck by the support and atmosphere in the Stadium.

Though the Broncos ended up victors at the end of the 80 minutes, Glen said the real winner was Rugby League, which has inspired and many people.
