Pacific MMI Pepes To Be Named Over Easter

The 2014 Pacific MMI Pepes will finally be named over the Easter Weekend, during a national training camp in Port Moresby.

Since the announcement of the Top 20 training squad, the players, alongside management team, and HP team at the PNG Olympic Committee, have been working hard to prepare the squad for this selection camp.

Throughout the 4 day high level training program, players will undergo a fitness test, medical test, skills test, game situation test and video game analysis.

Fiji Pears National Coach Unaisis Rokoura, who arrived earlier today, will be training the girls alongside national Head Coach Annie Iamo, and assistant coach Mona-lisa Leka.

Out of 20 member squad, 4 offshore based players, 1 Lae based player, 1 Kerema based player and 14 NCD/Central vicinity based players, will be battling for 12 spots on the final team.

Upon announcement of the team over the long weekend, the finalised 12 member team will commence preparations immediately for the Team, to attend a 3 Test Series between Fiji, Northern Ireland, and PNG from 6-8 May, and then the Pacific Netball Series held in June, in Cook Islands.
