New Teachers House for New Ireland

Wang primary school on Tabar Island New Ireland province opened two new teachers’ houses on Wednesday October 25th.

The houses were funded by the Big Tabar Landowners Association.

Provincial Assembly Chairman of Youth Engelbert Lutham commended the commitment by the people of Central New Ireland towards the housing infrastructure.

Deputy New Ireland Governor Florence Stocken also encouraged the community to work towards boosting the province’s infrastructure in banking, airport facility and education.

Since 2008, New Ireland Governor Sir Julius Chan invested more than 50 million for free education in New Ireland.
