The 39-year old Brooklyn rapper gave birth to a brand new baby girl weighing in at 6 pounds, 5 ounces on the morning of Monday the 9th of June as confirmed by E! News.
The baby’s name is Royal Reign, reflecting the mother’s avid adoration for her very first baby and at the same time, acknowledging the Queen of Rap’s self-proclaimed title since the 90’s.
The baby daddy in question is New York-based rapper Mr. Papers; the pair was first speculated as an item as far back as June 2012.
As Lil’ Kim broke news of the pregnancy in February of this year, the excited daddy-to-be was quick to make himself known with an Instagram picture captioned “I Heard Everybody Looking For Me????”
The new father also re-Tweeted and responded to some congratulatory Tweets and casually deflected the hostile.
One Tweet bleated that the rapper could never scale the ranks of Lil’ Kim’s late ex, rapper icon The Notorious B.I.G., to which Mr. Papers simply replied “lol damn lol.”
With the new parent’s excitement and love clearly evident, it is safe to say that their new baby girl is set up for a Royal future.
