PNG athlete, Mae Koime, is confident of her preparation for the 2015 Pacific Games.
The once renowned track queen is hard at training under PNG Olympic High Performance Specialist, Aaron Alsop.
Koime has been counted in for the PNG Athletics 2015 Train-on Squad, from the Port Moresby Athletics side.
Once been the pride of the country, and still maintains her 100 and 300 meters national record.
While the current reigning queen Toea Wisil blitzed the 60 and 200 meters record, Koime is back on scene, ready to stamp her mark on the track.
Been away for three years has taught her many lessons, especially the off -field discipline. She confidently uttered what would be expected on the home soil come the 2015 game day
Having the blessings from Port Moresby Athletic coach, and former Athlete Naomi Polum, and Athletics PNG President Tony Green, has placed her on the right track, to make her comeback.
She is part of the 2015 Pacific Games train- on squad, and has the support of the PNG Olympic Committee High Performance Specialist, Aaron Alsop.
The Port Moresby Athletics are now in the competition phase, preparing for the National Championships which will be held in Kokopo, East New Britain province.
