Kilakila Dart Association

The Kilakila Darts Association put to test the two sides that set the pace right from the beginning of the season.

Spartans and Whitecliff went neck-to-neck over the weekend in the semi playoff.

Spartans made clean a sweep, with 5 stars to nil to face off Koura Saints in the grand final playoff this weekend.

The Kilakila community of Moresby South Electorate know a better way to spend the weekend. You wouldn’t get past this bunch, who front up every weekend for a game of darts.

Traditionally, darts is regarded as a pub game but on a professional note, it is more competitive, involving athletes of all ages, as long as they meet the set criteria.

There were smiles everywhere as the PNG Power-powered Spartans took to the board with diligent stamina, concentration and good coordination from singles, doubles, trebles and the team as a whole to walk out winners.

The neatly-knitted Whitecliff outfit was not able to put a star on the board as they narrowly trounced 5 stars to nil over the spirited Spartans.

The Spartans advanced to the finals to meet the Koura Saints this weekend.

Meanwhile, darts is included in the PNG Games and will be played at the Igam Barracks.
