Lae Football Association President, and Lae City Manager, Roy Kamen, believes that football in PNG needs to be assisted to grow.
In an interview, he clarified the stance that Lae Football is taking, in response to their suspension by PNGFA, and that they hope, that they can be more inclusive to both the rural, and smaller associations.
Kamen claims, that despite PNG football is receiving large amounts of money, the associations throughout the country have not been given any form of financial assistance by the mother body.
