ITI Volleyball Make An Impact

The ITI Volleyball Tournament came to its finals over the weekend, with up to 24 competing teams.

The open competition saw both males and females taking part, all in the open division. Today was their presentation at the International Training Institute in Port Moresby.

The ITI volleyball teams around Port Moresby today witnessed their presentations at the ITI College vicinity.

All teams came in with their team members, friends and families to witness the presentations of cash and shields.

Presentations were handed out to the best players, best teams (for both male and female), and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd runner up teams.

So far this year, with the rapid increase in the number of teams, there are big plans for ITI to have different competitions of volleyball.

ITI volleyball is planning on extending its sponsorship to villages in and around Port Moresby to encourage young men and women to get involved in sports through the donation volleyballs, along with volleyball nets, to encourage village competitions.

Last year, ITI volleyball was only played in one division, and this year, it has formed another competition to make it two competitions; one open and one under 21.

The under 21 will start their ITI competition this weekend.
