Hebou PNG Barramundis Bowler Suspended

The Hebou PNG Barramundis have had their fair share of bad news but the news of fast bowler, Nosiana Pokana, comes as blow just when they are in preparation for the World Cup Qualifying campaign in Zimbabwe.

ICC announced the suspension yesterday following an independent assessment that found bowling action of Pokana to be illegal during their ODI match against Hong Kong in Dubai on 8 December 2017.

Pokana is now suspended from bowling in international cricket and this decision is expected to be enforced by all cricket federations as well.

Though at the moment, Pokana still has the option of applying for re-assessment.
