The government has appointed Gerard Dogimbo as the Acting Secretary for the Department of Commerce and Industry.
This followed the resignation of Steven Mera which came into effect on the 15th of this month.
Dogimbo will act in this capacity for the period of 3 months until a permanent appointment is made.
He was the director for corporate services with Investment Promotion Authority.
