Eluh To Take Suspension To Court

The suspended Assistant Commissioner Crimes and Lead Investigator into the Paul Paraka  Case Thomas Eluh, will challenge his suspension in court tomorrow.

Mr. Eluh was suspended yesterday despite a National Court Order stating that the Acting Police Commissioner Geoffrey Vaki should not in any way interfere with Eluh’s team on investigation into the Paul Paraka cases until the case appears in court.

His suspension notice was delivered to him yesterday by Police Chief Superintendent.

Mr Eluh said, his suspension is contemptuous and a blatant breach of the court process.

He suspects also that other investigators will be suspended soon including the Director of the National Fraud and Investigation.

He said he is stunned that our national leaders have gone quiet about the issue and are supporting a Prime Minister that does not care about the country

“Fighting crime and corruption is not just police business but everyone’s,” said Eluh. He said he understands that a public march will being planned for this Tuesday. He has also appealed to the public to not go to work, students to not go to school and business houses to not do business on that day.
