Ela Motors Unveils 4th Generation Toyota Coaster

In every highway in Papua New Guinea you will always find a Toyota 25-seater Coaster bus. After almost a decade of the 3rd generation coaster, Ela motors on Friday unveiled the 4th generation 26 Seater Coaster.

Long-time Public Motor Vehicle owners who were present, had mixed feelings. For them durability and safety were two of the features they looked closely at before purchasing.

Public Motor Vehicle owners who already own coaster buses that travel usually on the Okuk highway from Lae to Hagen and the bus routes of the National Capital District were present at the launching. Along with government departments and privately owned companies to view the 4th generation coaster at Ela Motors.

Ela Motors Chief Executive Officer, Takeshi said that the coaster buses is one of the most sold vehicles in Ela motors PNG.

Also present at the unveiling was his excellence Satoshi Nakajima, ambassador of Japan. Ambassador Nakajima said it was good to see Japanese vehicles in PNG, and that it contributes to the economic partnership between Japan and PNG.

Some PMV Bus owners have already purchased the new 4th generation coaster. While some have had mixed feelings.

But one thing is for sure, you are soon to see and maybe travel on the new 4th Generation Coaster.
