Kairuku MP and Minister for Energy has stressed the importance of preserving the rich cultural heritage, that must be nurtured and preserved for future generations.
“Our culture is our identity. It connects us to our clans, tribes’ communities and ancestors. By giving our young people opportunities to learn and witness and participate, we ensure that our cultural heritage is preserved and natured for our future generations.
Isoaimo made this comments in-light of the Central Province Muisic Arts and Culture Festival to be hosted in Bereina on Friday.
Isoaimo thanked the madam Governor Rufina Peter and the organizing committees of the CMA&C Festival for choosing Bereina to host the even.
He stressed that the Central Music, Arts and Culture Festival was unique and important for artists young and old to showcase their talents while celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Central province.
He said the Kairuku District Development Authority under his leadership as chairman allocated K200,000 for the event.
He conveyed his sincere apologies; he won’t attend the three-day event since he is out on ministerial duty travel overseas to attend the APEC Energy Ministers meeting in Beijin.
He returns on September 15, 2026.
