Chinese Businesses operating in Popondetta Oro Province were raided last week Tuesday.
The joint operation by Custom’s and mobile squads from Port Moresby confiscated large sums of money in cargo containers and a prostitution ring involving teenage Chinese girls
Police in Popondetta confirmed the raid saying it has exposed corrupt practices by these businesses.
Even the public were surprised that their existed such illegal activities in the province.
The money confiscated was banked, while those arrested will face the full brunt of the PNG laws.
