Hunters Comeback
A daring comeback by the PNG Hunters in the second half, has forced a draw against Easts Tigers on the final hooter, at Langlands Park in Brisbane yesterday.

Trailing by eight points, 12 to 20, David Loko pushed past the East Tigers Defence, to set a try.

Ball handling errors were proved costly, but the hunters compensated for it in their defence, to hold off the determined East Tigers. Tigers raced to an 8 point through unconverted tries to Maeli Seve, and Shane Neumann.

David Loko drew first blood for the Hunters which Noel Zemming, successfully converted. Minutes before half time, Zemming converted a penalty to level the score at eight all.

The Hunters came back fired in the second half, with smart play from David Loko, Sebastine Pandia and Wartovo Puara, who scored for the hunters seal the match.
