Ijivitari Petition To Reinstate Arore

Presidents of various Local Level Governments in the Ijivitari District have called for the reinstatement of Ijivitari MP David Arore, to the Ministry for Higher Education, Research Science and Technology.

They have presented a petition to leader of the Triumph Heritage Empowerment Party Don Polye, giving him a 48 hours ultimatum to act upon the petition.

Failure to do so will result in the presidents calling on their local member to leave the party and the government.

The recent decommissioning of the Ijivitari Member David Arore, has not gone down well with LLG leaders from his district.

They travelled to Port Moresby, discontent with the manner in which their leader was sacked, demanded an audience with the Triumph Heritage Empowerment Party Leader Don Polye, to present their petition.

The petition comes with a 48 hour ultimatum demanding Don Polye to reinstate David Arore as the Minister for Higher Education, Research Science and Technology.

Popondetta Town Mayor Norman Ivahupa says this is a slap in the face of the Ijivitari people.

He says, the Ijivitari people would demand their local member David Arore, to withdraw from the Triumph Heritage Party, if there petition is not heard.

Earlier, the Ijivitari member David Arore accepted his sacking. He says it is the prerogative of the Prime Minister and he respected the decision.

He is aware of this petition. He says the people have the right to express themselves as they are the ones who elected him.
