IBS Debate Competition To Start Tomorrow

The Institute of Business Studies Debate Competition is set to start tomorrow.  This annual event will run for three days starting with schools in the Central province.

Mount Diamond, Red Scar and Laloki are amongst the six participating school.  With the standard theme Developing Young Leaders of our Nation, it is aimed at training Papua New Guineans to be confident leaders.

 

Since last May, the completion has attracted twelve other provinces. It has gained recognition from major business houses and provincial governors like Peter Ipatas and Power Parkop .

 

The Debate Competition for Schools in NCD will commence the following week. Jubilee, Gerehu and Marianville are some of the schools expected to take part.

 

Competition Executive Director John Schmidt and his team are planning to introduce the program to all provinces in PNG before expanding to Fiji, Solomon Islands and Samoa.

 

Competition for other provinces are also set to commerce after the NDC competition finishes.
