The Deputy Prime Minister John Rosso and Morobe Provincial Administration have organized for the evacuation of Morobe students from Goroka back to Lae, buses and police escort have travelled to Goroka today.
Additional buses will be made available, free of charge to assist students from other provinces transiting through Lae.
Arrangements have been made in consultation with the principals of Bugandi and Lae Secondary Schools, to provide free accommodation and meals for the transiting students from other Provinces until their provincial governments or parents organize onward transport home.
