Sinasina -Yongomugl District MP Kerenga Kua presented K60 000.00 to Sinasina Yongomugl District to assist with the LLG elections.
The MP said that this money will be cater for the logistics and the allowances for the officials before polling.
“It is important that our people must have the opportunity to vote for their ward councillors,” Kua said
He said the third-tier government is important for the people and urged every intending council candidate and community leaders to take ownership to ensure polling and counting flow smoothly without violence and disruptions.
“We we must have free fare and a safe peaceful election,” Kua said.
Deputy District Administrator Gabriel Kaugla, received the timely assistance and expressed his gratitude to the MP Kua and the DDA for the support.
The Council election in Sinasina Yongomugl District will now go ahead, as planned.
