There is a ballot box missing at the Boreboa Primary School polling booth for ward 10 Waigani.
Since 6am this morning, eligible voters were at the school grounds to cast their votes only to find out that Ballot box 215 that is for names J-Z is missing and were advised by the Returning officer that they could vote but had to put their ballot paper into another ballot box.
This sparked outrage by scrutineers and voters alike and polling was put on hold.
Around 12 this afternoon, the Returning Officer advised that polling for the area will only be for names A-J until he gets further instructions from the Electoral Commission.
