Port Moresby Soccer Association Continues Road to Final

The Port Moresby Soccer Association has continued with its Pre-season finals series.

In the Women’s division, a determined Guria took a one-nil lead just before half time, against a physical Mungkas outfit.

Over in the Men’s division, the effervescent Cosmos fought back from two-nil down to qualify for next week’s quarters, 3-2.

While new club FC Genesis took to the part with three former national team players rearing to go, brothers Nathaniel and Andrew Lepani, as well as recently dropped PNG stalwart, Rodney Mobiha, to the pitch only weeks before the proper season commences.

The competition finals continue next week.

Meanwhile, the Port Moresby Soccer Association is looking to upskill its coaches by having them look at match analysis, with the PNG Tahiti match to form a basis for learning and improvement.
