Witness Statements Yet to Be Collected by Police for Case Against Asylum Seeker

Police prosecution is not ready with eye witness statements in the case against asylum seeker, Loghman Sawari.

As a result, the Waigani District Court vacated Sawari’s trial, and set a new trial date for hearing.

The 21-year-old Iranian, was charged for using false information in 2016, to obtain travel documents and fled the country in December last year.
