PNGDF Catering Contract

Governor General, His Excellency Bob Dadae, today executed on behalf of the State, a contract for catering and hospitality services for PNG Defence Force establishments throughout the country.The contract, valued close to K24.8 million, was awarded to I.P.I Catering Limited, and will be fully financed by the State.

PNG Defence Force Chief-of-Staff, Colonel Raymond Numa, said I.P.I Catering commenced its services yesterday.He said the company will be engaged for the next five years, and will set up its services in all PNGDF establishments by the first of next month.

I.P.I Catering Ltd Chief Executive Officer, Scott O’Reiley, and Group Board Chairman, Jolson Kutato, signed the contract before the Governor General, witnessed by the Department of Defence Acting Secretary, Trevor Meauri.

The Contract Signing was the first official engagement for Governor General Bob Dadae, since being sworn into office on the 28th of last month.
