YWAM Partners With Central Provincial Government

Youth with a Mission, or YWAM, will soon extend its services to Central province.

This comes after Central Governor, Kila Haoda, presented a cheque of Fifty thousand Kina from the Provincial Services Improvement Program Fund, to YWAM Managing Director, Ken Mullingan, today.

The Central Provincial Health Division will meet with staff of YWAM in coming days to discuss a program of health services delivery and training needs for the province.

Health is a priority for the province and this new partnership will help up-skill local health workers.

“I have been impressed with the work of YWAM in Papua New Guinea and believe that the people of Central Province would immensely benefit from a partnership with this organization” Haoda said.

YWAM is a Christian aid and development organization that closely aligns itself with development priorities of the Government with the delivery of health services by deploying mobile clinical teams to serve villages with essential health service.

The work of YWAM has the support of the Health Department.
