Yumi Yet Water Issue Fixed

A successful national real estate business, Yumi Yet, has been footing water bills worth over 60 thousand kina to Eda Ranu every month for a poor level of service.

Eke Lama, the Managing Director, said this problem has affected his tenants, in turn his business, in the last 8 months.

Just last week, Eda Ranu made the appropriate connection. Mr. Lama said he has lost tenants due to water issues. He said he pays his bills on time, that’s about 60 thousand kina per month. However, the service was so poor.

In the past 8 months, the water pressure was very low. With the growth of the business and demand of more one and two bedroom units, the supply could not cater for everyone.

Many tenants have vacated these units at Gerehu because of this water issue. Mr. Lama was excited when Eda Ranu fixed the problem on Friday. With this issue solved, he promised to deliver improved services for his tenants.

He is known for his successful real estate business and other smaller businesses. Mr. Lama said service providers must assist local entrepreneurs to grow their businesses by providing effective services, so that in turn, these entrepreneurs deliver the best to their clients.
