In this episode, we feature women in sports. Our first story is about a woman who has pioneered women’s rugby union in PNG. She’s also one of the world’s first women to be appointed head of a national rugby federation.
We also take a look at the PNG Netball Federation. The PNG Netball Federation is the largest women’s group in the country with over 10,000 registered members across the country. PNG Netball sees sports as a tool to develop young girls and women.
