West Papuan students resume protests in multiple locations
Hundreds of police and soldiers have been deployed to the Cendrawasih University in Jayapura as students begin another week of pro-independence protests.
Students who gathering in front of the University auditorium, posted live videos on Facebook reported that Police and military had surrounded the university and were ordering them to end the gathering.
In Wamena, soldiers fired shots to disperse a protest high school students.
This is the latest in the wave of protests that began last month.
