South Bougainville MP, Timothy Masiu opened a new two-in-one classroom at Boku Primary school in his electorate recently.

Masiu emphasized that the classroom should be used to deliver quality education which produces students with good academic performance.

“Education means a lot of things. We can see a good classroom but what about the quality of education, quality education that students can learn from,” said MP Masiu.

During the opening, Bana District’s Education Officer, Lawrence Lugabai, revealed that the performance of schools in Bana in 2018 put the District top in South Bougainville.

Extending his congratulations to the primary schools, teachers, and students, Masiu said these are indicators which show that the district is progressing and moving forward.
