In the Autonomous Region of Bougainville, the soccer balls are ready to roll on the field, with the staging of the Tsitalato Soccer Seven’s Tournament in Buka.
The tournament is set to attract teams from the Tsitalato Constituency, and other neighbours.
The five day tournament kicks off, on April 28th, and runs till May 3rd, at the Tsitalato Oval.
All teams have been asked to register now, to pay their affiliation and player registration fee to the association inorder to qualify for the competition and take the field.
According to officials from Buka, those who fail to pay will not qualify to take the field and enter any finals as well, if they do so.
Prizes be awarded to male and female teams. First prize is valued at K3, 000, second prize at K1, 500, and K500 for the third placing.
K200 will be awarded to winners within the pools.
Officials are looking forward to the success of these games.
