The Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League has a Kato Ottio Trust Fund Account to help the late hero’s family especially his mother, Joyce. This has been accounted by chairman, Sandis Tsaka.
The PNG Rugby Football League has opened a Kato Ottio Trust Fund Account to help the family of the late rising rugby league star, especially his mother Joyce.
Every donation will be deposited into this account.

Also in the United Kingdom, Widnes Vikings established a crowd-funding campaign for the family of late Ottio.
The RIP Kato Ottio Crowd funder page has received positive feedback from the public. They have created the page with hope that the donations to demonstrate love and respect for Kato Ottio.
Meanwhile, during the funeral service yesterday, Kato Ottio’s elder brother, Ahulo, revealed how he turned down the Saint George Illawarra’s contract.
The emotional Ahulo said he tried to convince his brother to forgo the World Cup and take up the Dragons deal.
Following the World Cup, Kato Ottio signed with Widnes Vikings to fulfil his dream of playing first-grade rugby league.
But all ended, when he passed away earlier this week. Although Kato had never played a match for the Vikings, They paid tribute prior to their game against Whitehaven with a minute of silence.
Vikings went on to win 62 points to nil.
And they have collected over £14,000 which will all go the Late Ottio’s family.
