Madang is the most recent province to receive the government’s distribution of the 2014 Tuition Fee Free Education (TFFE) commodity component.
The component was handed over to the Madang Provincial Education Advisor in front of students, teachers and the public at Tusbab Secondary School.
Tusbab Secondary was packed as teachers, students and members of the Education Department in Madang gathered to witness the launching and distribution of the TFFE component for Madang schools.
Prior to receiving the education kits, Madang Provincial Education Director Moses Sariki said it is a relief for both parents and schools who have been spending a substantial amount of money on these learning materials in the past years.
Mr Sariki says education officers will be busy sorting out the materials and will equally distribute throughout all schools in and around Madang.
Treid Pacific’s General Manager David Wilson says the kit comes in handy for both students and teacher enhancement as the government is prioritising the education sector. Wilson says Treid Pacific is proud to partner with the Education Department to roll out the distributions.
Students and teachers were then given a preview of the TFFE materials.
