TELIKOM PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS

Telikom Limited has officially handed over the Miss Telikom People’s Choice Award to recipient Leilani Konjib today at the Telikom Headquarters in Port Moresby.

Konjib contested in the recent Miss Pacific Islands Pageant as Miss Rapopo and Sanctuary Hotels.

She was voted through the People’s Choice Category with 34,000 votes all across Papua New Guinea, by Telikom Valued Users.

Miss Konjib thanked Telikom Limited for the great initiative.

“For me personally, it is a reflection of the communities that we have, especially when being part of the MPIP platform for about 2 years and 4 months. It has shown that we have been through a lot especially after COVID but we have had people who believed in such a cause,” she said.

Representing the CEO, Board and Management of Telikom was the Caretaker CEO and General- Manager Corporate Services, Silas Matoli.

Matoli took the time to congratulate Leilani Konjib and Miss PNG, Josie Nicholas.

He alluded that Telikom is a nationally-owned company and once again is committed to partner with MPIP.

“We are still committed to support and give the opportunity to promote the talent that we have in this country.”

“More work to be done for the young ones and identify the talent that we have and give them the opportunity in a lifetime to be somebody better,” he said.

Telikom’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Nathaniel Lepani said they look forward in continuing their role in supporting MPIP.

Miss Pacific Islands Pageant Chairlady Molly O’Rourke replied by commending the support Telikom has given to the Beauty Pageant.

Telikom Limited is the official communications partner for the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant 2022.
