During the visit, the Foundation team gave each child a gift pack containing items that were donated by Colgate Palmolive, and Young Port Moresby Young Chamber of Commerce.

With all smiles, each child warmly received their gift pack. Those who could manage, received while babies and those who couldn’t, were received by their guardians and parents.

Foundation Coordinator Yolanda Bafmatuk said it’s a blessing to see children smile especially this festive season. “For this festive season, we want to put a smile on a child’s face, so today (231217) we are here happy to put a smile on the kid’s face and share the spirit of giving during this festive season”, she said.

More than a hundred gift packs and wrapped presents were given out to the children from the different wards. Each of the gifts were packed based on the items the Foundation received.

“We have put together the items based on the donations that came in, Colgate Palmolive donated a total of 150 packs of Colgate toothbrush and toothpaste. We also had a donation of gifts that were already wrapped for the children and that came from the Young Chamber of Commerce”, she added.

Present to witness and be part of the gift giving YPOMCCI Executive President, Rio Fiocco. Mr. Fiocco joined and was part of the team to give the gifts and presents to the children.

Telikom Foundation Inc. would like to thank Colgate Palmolive, and YPOMCCI for the support and donations, in making this festive season a memorable one for the children at the ward.
